The word confidence is used as an umbrella term for something that’s holding us back when we can’t quite figure out what it is. Maybe one or more of the below phrases resonates with you:
I wish I had more confidence
I’m such a people pleaser
I procrastinate all the time
I’m terrible at overthinking
I’ve got so much going on in my head, I can’t make sense of it
I couldn’t possibly do that
All these things have a negative impact on our confidence levels.
It turns out confidence can actually be genetic and in our DNA, for some of us it’s thought to be anywhere between 25% – 50%.
Research over the years has also revealed that confidence genes can be manipulated and influenced over time – great news for those of us who don’t have so much of it!
When we work together I won’t be giving you any of the answers, you already have these. My role is to help you to see things differently so you find those answers you are looking for!
Our sessions will always be about you and your goals. The sessions will be driven by you and what you want to get from them.
My style of coaching is informal, I’ll point things out, I’ll repeat back to you what I’ve heard, I’ll listen and I’ll ask questions. It’s conversational.
I’m not all about models and theory, although I do believe they have their time & place. I’ll only use them if I think they will be helpful to you and your situation or challenge.
I’m actions focused, I’m direct and there is no fluffy stuff involved and I’m a big believer in pulling up your big pants and getting it done!
Rather than tackling the problem at face value, we’ll dig deep to find the underlying thinking.
Working with me will be empowering and challenging and I’ll hold you accountable for taking action to make a positive change. After all, if I didn’t do that what would be the point?
